Saurav is a graduate of the University of Nottingham Malaysia, with a background in Literature and Linguistics. Passionate about the power of language and persuasion, he believes that when done right, education can be a transformative force.
Saurav’s involvement in the debating scene spans many years. He is one of the pioneers of the Nepalese debating community and has trained hundreds of students, playing a key role in building and strengthening the country’s debate culture. Saurav coached Nepal for the World Schools Debating Championships in 2015, led selections in 2018, and has since mentored several other national teams. A highly accomplished debater himself, Saurav has earned Best Speaker awards at every tournament he’s won, reached the Grand Finals of several Asian tournaments, and frequently served as Chief Adjudicator at various competitions.
Saurav has also spent several years as a dedicated trainer in public speaking and developmental issues, serving as an executive at a leading non-governmental organization in his home country. During this time, he trained hundreds of individuals on community development initiatives and spoke at numerous international conferences and policy advocacy forums, championing education and empowerment.
Saurav believes that the right education can be a truly transformative experience—something that the education sector has yet to fully systematize. He is a committed lifelong educator.
