Nicholas graduated from Purdue University in 2015 with a B.A. in Psychology. Throughout this time, he worked as a research assistant to staff and students, leading and completing a research study featuring the use of digital media in classrooms. Simultaneously, for two years, he held a teaching position as a Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten instructor for an institution accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); later, he also tutored university students enrolled in ESL courses. After graduation, Nicholas became a certified TESOL instructor and moved to Hong Kong in 2015, where he worked as an ESL instructor/Head Teacher of a learning center. He has had the pleasure of working with a wide range of children, ages 2-13, teaching many different subjects, including basic phonics, analytical and creative writing. Nicholas is excited to share his passion for teaching to continue helping students to develop their passion for life-long learning. At Capstone, Nicholas will be primarily working with lower and upper level primary students.
