Jenny holds a B.S. from the University of British Columbia, a CELTA (TEFL) credential from the University of Cambridge, and an International Baccalaureate diploma. She was selected to participate in the “J’explore” language exchange program at Western University, and the summer exchange program at Fudan University. During her undergraduate studies, she was a project assistant for the Vancouver Board of Education’s “Think & Eat Green” program to educate young learners on sustainable food production and healthy food choices. She also participated in the “Teach and Learn in Korea” program, a government-funded scholarship through the South Korean Ministry of Education. Jenny has several years of experience teaching students of varying ages and abilities ranging from kindergarten and early childhood to graduate students in university. She has also taught continuing education for mature and retired learners. She acknowledges the definition of work for younger generations will change in the future and is also very passionate about learning and teaching coding languages to prepare students for the fast-paced future that lies before them. At Capstone, Jenny is excited for the opportunity to empower students to help them prepare for success.
