Gabi received her B.A. in English and Comparative Literature from The University of Hong Kong in 2017, during which she took credit-bearing summer courses at Yale, UC Berkeley and Columbia University in the City of New York through the HKU Worldwide Undergraduate Student Exchange Programme. She then attended New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, where she designed her own Master’s programme with a specialization in postcolonial literature, media history and creative writing. Immediately after graduation in 2022, she interned at a Manhattan-based magazine as a writer before moving back to Hong Kong earlier this year.
