Elizabeth graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in French. While working towards her undergraduate degree she studied abroad in France. During this time her interest in languages and second language acquisition was cultivated. Elizabeth also holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Before joining Capstone, she taught for three years in Shenzhen. Most of her time in Shenzhen was spent at a private school focused on developing students’ critical thinking and problem solving skills. Along with teaching at Capstone, she is working on her Masters degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Hong Kong. Elizabeth believes in creating a comfortable environment for students as well as motivating and inspiring them in order to help them achieve success.
