Cory received his B.A. in History from UCLA and M.A. in Broadcast Journalism from New York University. Prior to his arrival in Hong Kong, Cory worked in Seoul and Beijing as an SAT teacher and college consultant, helping local, international, and boarding school students gain admission to top universities in America and the United Kingdom. Moreover, he developed a reading club that pushed younger students to think more critically and creatively while encouraging them to speak with more confidence. He carefully selected novels that are regularly assigned at America and England’s top secondary schools, aiming to both challenge and prepare young students for the rigorous workload that awaits them at the next level. At Capstone, he continues to drive his students to reach their true potential.
