Instructor and Head of Curriculum (Primary)
Cindy graduated from a joint Concurrent Education program from Wilfrid Laurier University and Nipissing University, where she completed a B.A. in History and Psychology, and a B.Ed. in Primary/Junior Education. After graduating, Cindy taught at an international school in Vietnam, where she developed her passion for teaching English as a Second Language and for inspiring a love of reading and writing in young children. Before joining Capstone, Cindy completed her TESOL certificate at the University of Toronto after working as a substitute teacher in various primary schools in the UK. One of Cindy’s most memorable experience was working with a group of students to adapt and produce a children’s story as a stage production. The drama club worked diligently once a week and presented full-house show at the end of the school year. At Capstone, Cindy is excited to continue helping young learners achieve success and develop their passion for life-long learning.
