Cheryl graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Political Science with a Secondary Field in East Asian Studies. In middle school, she was enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Middle Year Program (MYP) and moved onto the IB Diploma Program for high school, where she also completed AP courses and exams with excellent academic records. She has taught analytical writing, standardized tests such as the SATs, and the college application process to Chinese students based in Shanghai and Guangzhou, as well as English as a foreign language for Rosetta Stone. When teaching, she takes a student-centered approach, hoping to foster each learner to his or her fullest potential and to cultivate a love of reading and writing. In 2018, she moved from New York City to Hong Kong to pursue her passion for teaching in Asia.
