Brian

Instructor

Brian graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland, a school known for its Great Books curriculum. He then went on to teach in China as a university instructor teaching multiple subjects in English, Economics, and Business Management. He also has taught a wide range of students from primary and secondary students to vocational institute trainees. His love of learning and teaching has now led him to pursue a Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MATESOL) at the University of Southern California, where he is currently a part-time student. Outside of teaching, Brian has also dabbled in the film industry, as an intern with a documentary studio and then in a quick stint as a dialect coach for the Netflix series “Orange Is the New Black”. At Capstone, Brian hopes to impart in his students a passion for life-long learning and a thirst for knowledge and insight.
