2019 Open Day
We are excited to invite you to Open Day on May 26th, 2019 (Sunday)! On Open Day, we open our doors to both parents and students so that you can gain a better understanding of our course content and way of teaching. Participate in a variety of events including taster classes from our major programs, Q&A sessions with a Capstone instructor, a “Make and Take” Workshop, debate mini-tournaments, and much more!
Highlights of Primary
In our Scavenger Hunt, students and parents will work together to complete a stamp card and win cool prizes! To collect stamps, students can participate in a series of engaging and fun learning activities while parents can attend workshops or take the opportunity to mingle with our instructors!
Highlights of Secondary
– “Capstone Champions” Competition. In the morning, students are invited to participate in pairs or as individuals in a multi-stage competition where they will put their writing, presenting, and critical thinking skills to the test! Who will be the first “Capstone Champions”? Winners will be awarded a certificate of achievement and a gift card at our Awards Ceremony.
– In the afternoon, we offer students the opportunity to see what it’s like to learn at Capstone by attending one or more 20-minute “taster” classes. Walk away with helpful tips on writing, debating, problem solving, public speaking, or all of the above!
– Throughout the day, parents can attend informational talks and Q&A sessions to learn about college admissions, language improvement, and much more!
Debate (Primary & Secondary)
Finally, we are excited to bring back our debate mini-tournament for both Primary and Secondary students! Students are invited to participate either by themselves or as a pair, and each winner will receive a certificate of achievement and a gift card at our Awards Ceremony!

Please click HERE for a full schedule. You and your child may choose to attend the morning or the afternoon session, or both. You are also more than welcome to sign up for a session in Primary and one in Secondary!
To show our appreciation, Capstone is offering a free assessment ($300 value) to all Open Day attendees! To get your child’s free assessment, just call us on or before June 26th, 2019 to make a reservation (assessment time slots are provided on a first-come-first-served basis). Your child may take their assessment either on Open Day or any business day on or before July 14th, 2019.
