SSAT

About the Test

SSAT is a test that is typically required for US boarding school admissions. What is most unique about the test is that a test-taker’s percentile ranking is based on gender and age. While the test used to be the only standardized test considered for boarding school admissions decisions, many boarding schools now also consider the TOEFL performance alongside the SSAT score for a student’s English ability. The test itself is composed of an essay, two math sections, one reading section and one vocabulary/analogies section.
