Quantitative Reasoning

Overview

In January 2012, Capstone will launch an advanced mathematics course designed to train students for worldwide math competitions. The goal is to introduce students to the critical thinking involved in multi-level math problems while also exposing young, capable students to advanced quantitative concepts as well as computer modeling to solve complex problems. Like Capstone’s debate programs and its track record of creating debate team members and public speaking champions, the aim of this course is to develop math team members who will represent both leading local and international schools, and ultimately win large regional and international math tournaments.
